Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations for a Contract position in Westbrook, Connecticut. This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working with digital records, handling routine office tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, confidence with data entry, and the ability to manage files efficiently in a fast-paced social services environment.

Responsibilities:

Retrieve electronic records from internal systems and prepare them for administrative use.

Download, sort, and maintain digital files to ensure documents are easy to locate and properly stored.

Create, format, and update documents using Microsoft Word and related file @types such as PDF.

Enter numeric and text-based information into state reporting systems with a high level of accuracy.

Scan paper records and convert them into organized electronic files for ongoing office access.

Provide back-office administrative assistance to support day-to-day operational needs.

Review documents for completeness and consistency before filing or data submission. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in an office support, clerical, or administrative position.

Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

Experience scanning documents and organizing both electronic and paper files.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PDF documents, and general computer systems.

Ability to manage multiple routine tasks efficiently in a structured office setting.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain orderly records.

Comfortable performing repetitive clerical duties while meeting quality expectations. TalentMatch®
