As a Field Service Technician, you are responsible for start-up and commissioning and post-start-up field services primarily within the data center market, in Electrification Services for the United States, ensuring ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will have an exciting opportunity to travel the U.S. on ABB\'s dime as field service resources receive comprehensive travel and lodging accommodations as well as per diem. While on the road supporting our Data Center Services, you will execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and deliver excellent customer service to exceed our customers\' expectations. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Contributes to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectation(s). Displays clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in their own area of responsibility. Ensures customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. Plans and prepares site work for larger project team and manages related subcontractors at site. Plans and executes work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensures the job is done on time and as per quality standards. Works with Site Manager and Sr. Field Service Technicians to identify improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the ways of working and the products in question and drives improvement actions in their own area of responsibility.
