Dealers Truck Equipment Co. Parts Associate:

As a Shreveport, La Parts Associate, you will be the first (and sometimes only) person that our walk-in customers see and will need to put on your best customer service face every morning. This position will be leading the charge of serving our customers, parts support to our sales team and shop, parts organization, invoicing, ordering and receiving parts.

Responsibilities:

*Greets walk-in customers in a timely and friendly manner

*Process walk-in, phone and email parts inquiries in a timely and professional manner

*Create parts or service quotes for customers

*Assist sales team with parts pricing, availability and ordering

*Assist customers and technicians in identifying correct replacement parts

*Stock shelves and organize inventory

*Assist with proper receiving, stocking, labeling and storage of parts

*Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy

*Maintain clean, organized and efficient warehouse facilities and parts rooms

*Keep showroom clean, organized and presentable for customers

*Coordinate parts warranty claims and manufacturer returns in accordance with vendor requirements

*Loads/Unloads delivery trucks when necessary

*Completes sales transactions including receiving payments of cash, check, and credit card

Requirements:

*Previous parts/sales experience required

*Minimum High School diploma

*Exceptional customer service skills

*Detailed and organized

*Ability to work with people and talk to people in an effective and friendly manner

*Ability to use computers, perform data entry, and use Microsoft Office

*Normal standing, walking, bending needed in the office, warehouses, shops and on the yard during all seasons

*Ability to lift 75 lbs.

*Ability to operate a forklift

*Must be a TEAM PLAYER and HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

At Dealers Truck Equipment Co., LLC., we offer a fair and competitive compensation package commensurate with education/experience. Benefits offered include health insurance, vision and dental, Life, Disability, 401(k) plan with matching, paid holidays, and paid time off. This is a full-time position.
