Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design : Assist in creating high-quality visual content for various mediums, including posters, flyers, social media graphics, digital signage, and web assets.

Brand Development : Help ensure brand consistency across all materials by adhering to Seminole Dining?s visual identity guidelines.

Campaign Support : Collaborate with the Media Coordinator to design marketing materials that support campus campaigns, events, and promotions.

Content Ideation : Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new design concepts and strategies to engage the student body.

Production Assistance : Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring they meet all technical specifications.

Photography and Editing : Assist in editing and curating images for marketing collateral, as needed.

Administrative Tasks : Organize and maintain a digital library of creative assets, including templates, images, and design elements.

Qualifications

Enrollment : Must be a current student, preferably in a field related to graphic design, visual arts, marketing, or communications.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Canva or similar tools.

Design Knowledge : Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.

Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accept and implement constructive feedback.

Time Management : Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Creativity : A portfolio showcasing original design work (can include academic, personal, or professional projects).

Preferred Skills

Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects).

Familiarity with social media platforms and their design requirements.

Knowledge of photography and image editing techniques.

Interest in sustainability or campus dining services is a plus.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
