Manufacturing Process Engineer
For a steel manufacturing client operating within the United States, Adecco is recruiting a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support and optimize production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, supporting, and improving production processes within a steel manufacturing facility. The position focuses on improving product quality, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. You will work closely with the Manufacturing Department and report directly and functionally to the Manufacturing Manager. The role involves continuous interaction with production team members and other departments, and it requires a strong safety mindset aligned with EHS values and a culture of cooperation, problem solving, and customer service.

What You Will Do?
Analyze and optimize existing steel production processes in the factory, including assemblies, stamping, roll forming, and other relevant manufacturing operations.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet output and product quality targets established by the steel manufacturing facility.
Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance with product specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements defined by company policies and regulations.
Support new product introductions and process changes by preparing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and detailed technical documentation for operations staff.
Analyze production data and KPIs, including Production KPIs (OEE), to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate corrective actions to address process deviations.
Identify root causes of process deviations and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality, and production, to resolve technical issues effectively.
Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs while maintaining product quality and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen, and provide training and technical support to operations staff as required.
Your Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field providing a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and industrial operations.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities with a consistent focus on goal-oriented performance, customer service, and cooperation within production teams.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred, together with high levels of proactivity and motivation.
Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems is highly preferred, along with substantial experience using Microsoft Office applications for data analysis and documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively and work with production team members and other departments, demonstrating strong teamwork, flexibility, and specific technical competencies.
Required English language skills, with Spanish language skills desirable to support communication across diverse teams and stakeholders in the manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated safety mindset aligned with EHS values, maintaining a mature safety culture by encouraging coworkers to follow safety procedures and report hazards before incidents occur.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
