Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician Job Description

Perform electrical assembly on generator packages, switchgear, and control panels. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools including wire strippers, multimeters, and wire crimpers. Read and interpret work instructions and standard operating procedures. Conduct point-to-point wiring and terminate connections. Learn manufacturer-specific software to diagnose engine and control system problems.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical assembly on generator packages, switchgear, and control panels.

Utilize hand and power tools such as wire strippers, multimeters, and wire crimpers.

Read and interpret work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Conduct point-to-point wiring and terminate connections.

Learn and use manufacturer-specific software for diagnosing engine and control system issues.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience in point-to-point wiring.

1+ years of experience in continuity testing using a multimeter.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Experience in wire stripping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in control panel wiring.

Understanding of schematics.

Experience in wiring PLCs and relays.

Experience in wiring generators or switchgear.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with shifts available from 7AM to 3:30PM for the 1st shift and 4PM to 12:30AM for the 2nd shift. A 3rd shift will be starting soon, and candidates open to this shift are encouraged to specify their availability. The new site is located in Cypress, TX.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, TX 77433.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
