3rd Shift Converting Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator

Responsibilities

Operate machinery for flexible packaging, including labels and print on boxes.

Utilize and maintain mounting equipment, ensuring cleanliness during shifts.

Handle and clean plates used as molds before storage.

Inspect plates before each print run.

Essential Skills

1+ year of machine operation experience.

1+ year of experience within a manufacturing setting.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Troubleshooting skills for machinery.

Mechanically inclined.

Work Environment

The company is accommodating to personal family matters while expecting hard work from the team. The third shift runs from 9pm-5am, with training on the first shift from 5:00 - 1:00 pm for two weeks. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans/work pants without holes, and a t-shirt. Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection is provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
