Electrical Assembler
Job Responsibilities
Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related electrical components following blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
Cut and prepare wires to specified lengths, working with wire sizes ranging from 2 AWG to 22 AWG.
Crimp, pin, and terminate wires using appropriate hand tools, connectors, and terminals.
Build complete harnesses and cable assemblies by connecting terminals, connectors, and electrical components.
Perform soldering on electrical and electronic components as required.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate production.
Assemble and support production of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies.
Utilize hand tools and production equipment to complete electrical and mechanical assembly tasks.
Inspect, test, and verify wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical products for functionality and quality.
Adhere to safety standards, production procedures, and housekeeping requirements in the work area.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of electrical assembly experience preferred.
Strong electrical wiring experience, including handling wire sizes from 2 AWG to 22 AWG.
Proficiency in crimping and pinning terminals and connectors.
Hands-on soldering experience with electrical and electronic components.
Experience assembling electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and basic production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to follow established assembly procedures and work instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with both electrical and mechanical assembly.
BG working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
Familiarity with electrical and electronic components and assemblies.

Work Environment
First-shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:15 PM.
Four-day workweek with extended weekends.
Work in a modern manufacturing facility opened within the last two years.
Hands-on production environment using hand tools and standard assembly equipment.
Focus on building and testing high-quality electrical and electronic products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodlawn, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
