Payroll Processor & Administrative Assistant

$24-$30/hour (DOE) | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | On-Site | Fairfax, VA

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a key part of a thriving team? We're looking for a reliable Payroll Processor & Administrative Assistant to support business operations and help keep the office running smoothly in Fairfax, VA!

What You'll Do:

Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple business entities

Gather and enter timekeeping data into our HRIS/payroll system

Assist with payroll submissions and accounting entries

Maintain accurate payroll and employee records

Handle wage garnishments and respond to payroll inquiries

Run reports for management, finance, and accounting

Perform essential administrative tasks (order supplies, answer phones, manage mail/shipments)

Help plan company social events and coordinate meeting refreshments

Jump in and assist with additional projects as needed

Who You Are:

High school graduate (Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, or related field is a plus!)

Solid understanding of accounting basics and payroll best practices

Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe knowledge preferred

Clear communicator-both written & verbal

Exceptionally organized and able to juggle multiple tasks with confidence

Friendly, proactive, and a natural problem solver
