The Sr Manager Marketing Innovation for Premium Brands is responsible for driving overall portfolio strategy across Saratoga and The Mountain Valley brands, and developing both long-term and short-term initiatives that align with both Brand and organizational growth objectives. The position requires the ability to articulate a strategic vision as well as being able to execute, guiding multiple initiatives successfully through our stage gate process and the annual commercial planning process.
The Sr Manager Marketing Innovation will make certain each innovation initiative is rooted in relevant consumer and cultural insights, along with satisfying the needs our key retail partners. This role will be required to work heavily with cross-functional partners, ensuring strong collaboration and communication while leading multiple project teams.
Base Salary: $144,211 - $180,134. This role is eligible for an annual bonus.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Identify and commercialize innovation and renovation initiatives that are aligned to organizational strategic growth objectives.
Generate new business opportunities by uncovering unmet consumer needs in the marketplace, ensuring strategic fit, identifying market potential as well as the timeline required to launch.
Drive the process to determine priority innovation territories, and lead the ideation that follows
Collaborate with internal Brand Marketing teams along with Sales, Strategic Initiatives, R&D, and Consumer Insights to generate and validate a pipeline of concepts for launch, both in the short and long terms.
Build compelling business cases for each innovation initiative that demonstrate project value and impact to the organization's annual financial goals.
Act as the initiative owner as projects move through the Stage Gate process, ensuring key stakeholders are aligned to strategy, and commercialization milestones are delivered on time.
Lead cross-functional project teams and demonstrate ability to inspire delivery of results.
Present recommendations and strategic plans for organizational buy-in from both cross-functional peers along with senior leaders.
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering and Regulatory partners to develop disruptive innovation technologies that can be leveraged across the organizations' platform of brands.
Qualifications
Key qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:
MBA or equivalent degree Preferred
Minimum 7 years' experience in Marketing in the Consumer-Packaged Goods / Beverage industries preferred
5 years' experience leading Innovation projects
Experience managing and developing people
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams
Consumer empathy and an understanding of how to interpret consumer research
Cross-functional Marketing experience is preferred (i.e. Brand)
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to effectively interface at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong strategic, analytical skills with P&L experience
Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas.
Must have strong knowledge of Marketing fundamentals, analytical expertise, and be familiar with syndicated data sources and internal data sources
