Accounting Clerk

Location: Garden City, NY | Schedule: Full time 35/hours | Status: Non-Exempt |Salary Range: $21/hour

The Opportunity

Family and Children's Association (FCA) is an organized and detailed Accounting clerk for our busy fiscal department.

Responsibilities

Assist with document copying, scanning, and printing of cancelled checks and bank statements for government claims.

Support the annual storage of fiscal documents and maintain the MWBE binder with up-to-date certificates.

Collaborate with supervisor and Facilities Director to update vendor certificates as needed.

Assist Accounts Payable with check mailing and invoice filing, and support Accounts Receivable with check copying for deposits.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of one year of experience in an office environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; certification in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
