As a Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.15 / Hour

Day Time

Wed09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Thur09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Fri09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Sat09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Sun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Support crowd management, public interaction, and incident response during peak travel periods, service disruptions, and/or special events while following post orders and applicable use-of-force guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

An armed guard card/license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
