As a Armed Security Officer Patrol in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.15 / Hour

Day Time

Mon02:45 AM - 11:00 AM

Tue03:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Wed03:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Thur03:00 AM - 11:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public agencies as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout platforms, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, security-related concerns, and/or maintenance issues.

Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unattended items in accordance with post orders.

Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in alignment with Allied Universal standards, location procedures, and applicable laws and/or regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3 or more years of experience as Military Police, Corrections Officer, armed security-related personnel, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.

Have 1 or more year of security-related experience.

Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.

Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an Associate degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy certificate, and/or a Corrections Academy certificate.

Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
