Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with post orders, training, and applicable regulations while maintaining a professional presence during patrols and interactions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and support security-related operations involving inmate movement, staff escorts, and controlled access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
