What you'll do:

Safely operate forklifts to move, load,and unload lumber and other building materials.

Transport materials between storage areas, staging zones, and loading areas.

Ensure materials are secure and protected from damage.

Pull, stage, and prepare orders accurately.

Assist drivers with locating or loading materials.

Verify quantities and product before loading.

Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or safety hazards immediately.

Provide excellent service to ensure a positive customer experience.

Maintain clean and orderly yard areas to support safety and organization.

Maintain situational awareness in a busy yard environment with multiple equipment @types.

Comply with OSHA and company safety standards at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring:

Experience operating forklifts in a lumber yard, warehouse, or construction setting preferred but not required.

Knowledge of lumber sizes, grades, and common building materials helpful but not required.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials (50-100 lbs).

Strong communication and simple math skills.

Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work in various weather conditions.

The pay range for this role is $20-28/hour. A candidate's placement within the given pay range for a position reflects a careful evaluation of their experience, skills, qualifications, and the level of responsibility associated with the role.
