Plant-Base

Develop, distribute, and post plant communications. This may include email, communication boards, physical handouts.

Submit purchase requisitions and reconciliation of expenses. Ordering office supplies and keeping breakrooms and supply areas stocked.

Arranging luncheons and on occasion breakfast and dinners.

Participate in on-boarding new employees (uniforms, lockers, lunch, safety shoes, business cards, etc.)

Coordinate outside services for general plant needs such as shredding, records retention, offsite meetings, etc.

Liaison between employees and uniform service assuring all necessary employees have proper uniforms.

Responsible for entering visitors in the RightCrowd system and scheduling their contractor/visitor training (CVT).

Liaison for onsite drink and snack vending machines.

Maintaining ETQ trainings for all Brewster and Santa Clara employees.

Executing various reports for site.

Assist Controller with posting invoices, running variance reports, overtime labor reports, outstanding purchase orders, etc.

Pick-up mail and distribute.

Project-Base

Effectively collaborate with Plant Manager and team members regarding projects given to oversee.

Communicate all necessary information with Facilities Project Manager regarding any AFE's that are needed.

Communicate with procurement assuring all contracts are reviewed and acceptable.

Schedule onsite visits with vendors and necessary team members to procure quotes.

Create all necessary Purchase Requisitions needed for the project by assuring proper accounts are used (expensed or capitalized).

Responsible for project reporting with all team members via email and/or meetings.

Maintain fully executed contract documents along with any other documentation for each project.

Responsible for keeping the project flowing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with accounting or business classes preferred.

Minimum of 4 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience required.

Administration experience in a Manufacturing firm preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables)

Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (creating and manipulating slides)

Experience with Microsoft Word.

Experience with SAP (financial piece) preferred.

Pay Range:

$26.06 - $39.04

Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Please understand that any job offer that requires approval of an export license will be conditional on Materion's determination that it will be able to obtain an export license in a time frame consistent with Materion's business requirements.
