Summary This position is located in the Office of Information and Technology, End User Services, End User Operations. The Supervisory IT Specialist provides leadership and resource management (finance, human, and acquisition), leading the development and implementation of strategies required to manage IT End User Operations. They oversee the day-to-day operations, services, maintenance, and security for all customers within the immediate geographic area. Major Duties: Coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities. Manages the package of support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of systems and components. Conducts evaluations of an IT program or its individual components to determine compliance with published standards. Performs needs analysis to identify opportunities for new and improved business process solutions. Reviews and conducts audits of information technology (IT) programs and projects. Develops methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts. Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Tour of duty may be subject to change based on organizational needs. Specialized experience is defined as: providing technical advice and guidance on complex information technology programs; planning, implementing, and evaluating IT policies, programs, or operations; overseeing enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems management; analyzing program performance and recommending improvements; ensuring compliance with federal IT policies and standards; and supervising or leading multidisciplinary teams in support of organizational mission requirements. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
