We are hiring immediately for a Customer Service Manager in Training position.

Location : Edison, New Jersey and surrounding areas.

Schedule : Flexible hours (early hours and/or weekends may be expected)

Requirement : 0-5 years post college graduation.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Manager in Training (MIT), you will gain preparation for a potential future role within our team leadership. Through this process, you will learn the best practices of your Compass Group sector, Canteen, and facilitate these practices within areas which may include, but are not limited to: marketing, customer service, retail, merchandising, branch operations and support services, finance, purchasing and supply chain, hiring, training, payroll, profit and loss, and more. As a MIT, you will be assigned to a training location to complete the on-site, hands-on learning portion of your onboarding and training experience while you participate, in tandem, in Compass Group's Accelerated Manager Program (AMP). As an AMP grad, you may take on managerial assignments in operational areas such as:

YOU MAY HAVE

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

0-5 years of experience in customer service, retail, logistics, food service, sales, or a related internship, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new technology and business systems

Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship-building skills

Outgoing, energetic, and sales-oriented with a passion for customer service

Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines

Demonstrated business acumen, including an understanding of inventory management, cash handling, and profit and loss concepts

Career-minded self-starter with a desire to grow into a leadership role through our management development program

Valid driver's license preferred; company vehicle provided for business use

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
