The Recruitment Marketing Specialist supports the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's recruitment marketing and outreach initiatives by coordinating and executing recruitment communications, candidate engagement activities, virtual information sessions, university outreach efforts, and multi-channel recruitment marketing campaigns. Working closely with USPTO recruitment marketing personnel, recruiters, hiring organizations, and external stakeholders, the incumbent assists with the planning, execution, tracking, and continuous improvement of recruitment marketing activities designed to attract qualified candidates for mission-critical occupations.
The position serves as a key contributor to recruitment outreach strategy and execution, supporting social media content development, graphic design, email marketing campaigns, virtual hiring events, and digital engagement activities while ensuring consistent messaging, strong visual presentation, and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. The incumbent utilizes platforms and tools such as Sprinklr, GovDelivery, LinkedIn, and Adobe Creative Suite/Adobe Stock to develop, deploy, manage, and analyze recruitment marketing content, digital outreach activities, and candidate engagement campaigns.
The WORK
Recruitment Marketing & Communications
Develop, deploy, and monitor multi-channel recruitment marketing communications and campaigns through platforms such as GovDelivery, Sprinklr, LinkedIn, and other approved outreach channels in support of USPTO hiring priorities, mission-critical occupations, and candidate engagement objectives.
Create, edit, and publish recruitment marketing content for social media, email campaigns, digital flyers, presentations, event invitations, and other promotional materials designed to attract prospective candidates and strengthen USPTO's employer brand.
Design and produce branded visual content and recruitment marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Adobe Stock resources to
support recruitment campaigns, outreach events, and digital communications.
Develop and maintain email campaigns promoting vacancies, hiring events, webinars, information sessions, and workforce development programs, including drafting campaign messaging, formatting communications, coordinating distribution, and tracking campaign performance.
Use Sprinklr to schedule, publish, monitor, and manage social media and digital recruitment content; support content calendars; monitor audience engagement; and generate campaign performance reports and analytics.
· Support the development, maintenance, and continuous refinement of recruitment marketing assets, templates, and content libraries consistent with USPTO branding, messaging, and communication standards.
· Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, digital engagement trends, and outreach effectiveness; prepare reports and recommendations to improve candidate attraction, engagement, and overall recruitment marketing results.
Virtual Events & Candidate Engagement
§ Coordinate virtual information sessions, webinars, and recruitment events designed to increase awareness of USPTO career opportunities.
§ Prepare presenters and subject matter experts for recruitment webinars and information sessions by providing logistics, presentation materials, event expectations, and facilitation support.
§ Conduct webinar rehearsals and event preparation activities to ensure successful event execution.
§ Moderate virtual events by managing attendee interactions, monitoring chat functions, facilitating question-and-answer sessions, and providing technical support.
§ Support candidate engagement activities that create meaningful touchpoints throughout the recruitment process.
University & Recruitment Outreach
§ Build and maintain relationships with university career centers, student organizations, and workforce development partners.
§ Coordinate outreach activities with targeted universities and educational institutions to promote USPTO employment opportunities.
§ Assist in scheduling and coordinating virtual and in-person recruitment activities with colleges, universities, and professional organizations.
§ Support recruiter participation in career fairs and outreach events through logistical coordination, briefing materials, and event preparation.
Recruitment Operations Support
§ Maintain recruitment marketing databases, contact lists, and outreach platforms.
§ Maintain recruitment marketing campaign calendars, digital content inventories, audience distribution lists, and platform-based reporting data to support ongoing outreach execution, performance monitoring, and leadership reporting.
Manage recruitment marketing records, reports, and campaign tracking information.
Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly recruitment marketing reports and metrics.
Conduct research on recruitment outreach opportunities, university partnerships, and marketing best practices.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support recruitment marketing initiatives and hiring objectives.
Collaboration & Coordination
Collaborate with recruiters, hiring organizations, communications personnel, and marketing staff to support recruitment goals.
Participate in planning meetings and provide recommendations to improve recruitment marketing activities and candidate engagement efforts.
Support special recruitment initiatives and projects as assigned.
The REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting recruitment marketing, communications, outreach, event coordination, talent acquisition, or related activities.
· Experience developing and executing digital recruitment marketing, outreach, or communications campaigns across social media, email, and other online engagement channels.
· Experience creating recruitment marketing materials, social graphics, presentations, digital flyers, email content, or other branded outreach materials using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
· Experience supporting or managing email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, formatting communications, coordinating distribution, and tracking campaign performance metrics.
· Experience coordinating webinars, virtual events, information sessions, or outreach activities.
· Experience using Sprinklr or a comparable enterprise social media management / digital engagement platform to support content scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and analytics.
· Demonstrated ability to track and analyze digital outreach, social media, and campaign performance metrics and prepare reports or recommendations based on results.
· Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
