Role summary:
The (USA) Senior Merchant leads category strategy and financial management for complex product lines, driving customer-focused decisions across multiple channels. This role oversees supplier negotiations, pricing, and promotional initiatives while managing a high-performing team to achieve business objectives. By leveraging data insights and market trends, the Senior Merchant ensures alignment with company goals and optimizes assortment, inventory, and channel strategies. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration skills to deliver sustainable growth and enhance the customer experience across all touchpoints.

What you'll do:
Develop and execute category strategies to drive long-term business growth and profitability.
Manage profit and loss responsibilities, including pricing, promotions, and inventory decisions.
Lead supplier negotiations, establish terms, and oversee supplier performance and communication.
Guide and develop team members through coaching, performance management, and career growth opportunities.
Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform merchandising and channel strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align supply chain, merchandising, and financial plans.
Utilize data analytics to influence decisions and optimize category performance across channels.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in category management, including strategy development and execution for complex categories.
Strong financial management skills with experience owning profit and loss responsibilities and forecasting.
Demonstrated ability in supplier management and negotiation to drive price leadership and profitability.
Effective team management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
Proficiency in merchandising and business strategy to support assortment, pricing, and promotional decisions.
Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to analyze customer behavior and market trends.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally to align channel and supply chain strategies.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
