Utility Payment Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the public service sector, is seeking a dedicated Utility Payment Clerk to join their team. As a Utility Payment Clerk, you will be an essential part of the customer service and administrative support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Utility Payment Clerk (Cashier)

Location: Roxboro, NC

Pay Range: $16

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm

Duration: Temp 4-6 Months

What's the Job?

Processing payments at the payment window and drive-thru efficiently and accurately

Entering payment details into the system with precision to ensure transaction accuracy

Greeting visitors warmly and notifying relevant personnel of their arrival

Handling various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks

Performing clerical or data entry tasks as assigned to support daily operations

What's Needed?

No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
