As a Security Officer Driving Role Armed Patrol in Butner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Wed05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.

Support emergency situations by following established response protocols, maintaining visible presence, and assisting with crowd control, restricted area monitoring, and/or coordination with first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
