Job Title: Senior Operations Manager, Marketing Operations & AdministrationJob Description
This role leads operational excellence for two high-impact marketing teams within the Chief Marketing Office: Access Account Marketing (AAM) and Population Health (PH). The Senior Operations Manager drives planning, process optimization, and cross-functional alignment, while serving as an operational subject matter expert and strategic partner to Senior marketing leaders. The position balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, overseeing business operations, vendor management, project management, and performance measurement across both teams.
Responsibilities
Lead planning and operational efficiency initiatives for the Access Account Marketing (AAM) and Population Health (PH) teams, ensuring both operate effectively and efficiently.
Act as a key liaison between the Chief Marketing Office, AAM, and PH teams to ensure alignment, information flow, and coordinated execution.
Identify, design, and implement the processes, communications, meetings, and resources needed for both teams to achieve their objectives.
Partner with and manage external vendors and internal cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance customer and stakeholder experiences.
Serve as an operational subject matter expert to Senior marketing leaders, providing guidance on operational best practices and executional excellence.
Support the AAM team by driving operational excellence across activation, strategic communications, strategic oversight, and business operations.
Provide operational pull-through for the Organized Customer Access Network (OCAN) and bridge the operational connection between OCAN and activation activities.
Orchestrate the connection and pull-through of Customer Engagement (CE) communication strategy across the AAM team.
Drive AAM strategy and priorities, scaling CE best practices by liaising with CE operations, coordinating marketing resource rollout and execution, and aligning communications with CE.
Manage business operations for AAM, including budget oversight, performance metrics, and development of measurement dashboards.
Partner with a Senior Administrative Business Partner on both tactical and strategic execution of business operations.
Serve as an operational subject matter expert to Population Health leadership, providing strategic and operational guidance.
Lead project planning and execution for Population Health initiatives by developing comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and milestones that ensure timely delivery and measurable results.
Run and compile usage reports for creative materials and marketing assets to track engagement and inform decision-making.
Manage Veeva asset management for Population Health, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of creative materials and ensuring approved assets are correctly housed in GOLF and accessible to stakeholders.
Translate analytics, insights, and complex information into clear, actionable strategies and execution plans aligned with organizational goals.
Apply project and operations management methodologies to deliver high-quality results on time, maintaining strong planning, organization, and documentation.
Communicate effectively with Senior leaders and key stakeholders, simplifying complex concepts into clear, compelling, and actionable messages.
Inspire, align, and mobilize cross-functional teams in a complex matrix environment without formal authority, driving alignment and decision-making.
Build strong internal networks and navigate formal and informal organizational structures to remove obstacles and accelerate execution.
Foster collaboration and strong partnerships across functions and levels, creating an open, trusting, and inclusive environment that encourages transparency and shared success.

Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience in marketing, vendor management, operations, or project management.
Proven project management or operations experience, preferably in a marketing @context.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments while making sound decisions and prioritizing competing demands.
Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a robust operational mindset, with experience building scalable systems, processes, and tactical toolkits.
Experience applying project and operations management methodologies to deliver high-quality, on-time results.
Excellent planning, organizational, and documentation skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence.
Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling, and actionable messages tailored to leadership and key stakeholders.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in South San Francisco, CA, with an expectation of three days on-site and two days remote each week. The specific on-site anchor days will be determined by the team at a later time. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with standard 8-hour workdays. The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly cross-functional, involving frequent interaction with marketing, operations, and external vendors. The role requires regular use of digital tools and platforms, including Veeva, GOLF, and other internal systems, to manage projects, assets, and reporting. The interview process typically includes two rounds: an initial phone screening of approximately 15 minutes, followed by a 45-minute conversation with the hiring manager. Professional business attire is expected when on-site or in meetings with Senior stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $51.00/hr.
