The Marketing Coordinator develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with internal teams and external agencies to support product marketing, go-to-market strategies, and customer engagement. The Marketing Coordinator combines digital marketing, market research, and strong communication skills to build relationships with customers and industry partners while contributing directly to business development.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal creative and copy teams, as well as external agencies and vendors, to plan and execute marketing initiatives.
Visit and engage with prospective and current customers to promote the brand, capabilities, and product offerings.
Build strategic partnerships with industry partners, agencies, and vendors to expand market reach and support growth.
Support product marketing and pre-sales activities independently and in collaboration with sales teams.
Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product and Commercial, to align marketing and business priorities.
Drive messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for products and solutions, ensuring alignment with target market needs.
Conduct and manage market research initiatives to identify opportunities, trends, and unmet customer needs.
Develop and execute market segment roadmaps that identify and prioritize opportunities to drive growth.
Contribute to business planning and growth strategy by providing market insights and marketing input.
Prioritize customer needs, build business cases, and support project management and product launches.
Own the marketing components of the product lifecycle, including product, price, promotion, and placement.
Develop compelling value propositions and pricing strategies for new products and solutions.
Collaborate with Sales, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Purchasing to align commercial resources and ensure cohesive market execution.
Plan and execute direct, email, and digital marketing campaigns to generate leads and support sales objectives.
Create marketing content and communications that support campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement.
Prepare and deliver presentations that clearly communicate marketing plans, value propositions, and results to stakeholders.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in marketing strategy and go-to-market execution, including driving messaging, positioning, and product or solution launches.
Demonstrated ability to develop pricing strategies and value propositions for products and solutions.
Experience in digital marketing, including direct, email, and online campaigns, with a focus on lead generation.
Strong market research skills to identify opportunities, customer needs, and growth initiatives.
Ability to partner effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, and other internal teams, as well as external agencies and vendors.
Marketing campaign planning and execution experience across multiple channels.
Experience in marketing communications and marketing management, particularly within product marketing.
Excellent writing, content creation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong ability to manage priorities and execute across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in marketing or a business-related field, with a strong track record of execution, attention to detail, and results delivery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience within a manufacturing environment, particularly electro-mechanical, is preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
Experience supporting business development or sales teams through marketing initiatives.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional setting.
Interest in contributing to the development and growth of a business development department.
Work Environment
The role is based in an office located above a manufacturing floor, providing close proximity to operations and products. The position is not limited to desk work; the Marketing Coordinator is expected to spend significant time out of the office obtaining business, meeting new clients, and building relationships. The role includes opportunities for cross-state travel and attendance at industry conventions, with travel-related expenses covered. The environment combines office-based planning and collaboration with field-based customer engagement and industry networking.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
