GDIT is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst SME to support USPACOM J6 Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development activities at Camp Smith, HI, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.
How the Cyber Security Analyst SME Will Make an Impact
Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development.
Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
Support RMF documentation, security control validation, POA&M management, and audit readiness activities.
Partner with engineers and system owners to identify, communicate, and reduce cybersecurity risk.
Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Education: Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
Required Technical Skills: cybersecurity engineering; RMF support; security architecture; vulnerability and risk analysis; Zero Trust principles; DoW security policy.
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. DoW 8570/8140-aligned cybersecurity certification or comparable professional certification.
Location: On customer site at Camp Smith, HI.

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
