Description: You will be the Industrial Engineer Stf for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing lean practices, and ensuring optimal efficiency in our operations.

What You Will Be Doing

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -?This position is located at a facility that requires?special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with minimum 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret

security clearance.
Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Proficiency with various work measurement

techniques such as predetermined motion time

systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time

study.
Extensive experience in continuous

improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma

methodologies.

Desired Skills:

-Excellent communication skills.

-Extensive experience in large scale facility space planning activities.

-Ability to drive strategic decision-making through data analysis, clear reporting, and executive presentations.

-Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems.

-Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) or Excel to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
