As a Security Officer Patrol in Cape Canaveral, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and/or visitor access in accordance with site procedures, helping to support controlled entry to restricted areas.

Communicate with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders regarding alarms, disturbances, medical events, and other security-related matters while following post instructions and escalation protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
