Position Overview

The Production Equipment Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by monitoring equipment performance, responding to machine alarms, performing material changeovers, and ensuring production equipment operates efficiently. This role works in a clean room manufacturing environment and plays an important part in maintaining product quality, safety, and production goals.

What You'll Be Doing

Equipment Operation & Production

Operate production and molding equipment safely and efficiently

Monitor machine performance and respond appropriately to machine alarms and faults

Perform material changeovers including paper and poly materials

Clear equipment jams and reset equipment as needed

Maintain production flow to meet daily output goals

Operate scales and accurately document quantities and production data

Quality & Compliance

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company procedures

Perform visual inspections of products and components

Complete required production and quality documentation

Review procedures to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards

Report production or process issues for timely resolution

Material Handling & Support

Transfer materials and finished goods throughout the production process

Move scrap materials to designated recycling or grinding areas

Maintain organized work areas using 5S and housekeeping standards

Support multiple production processes as needed

Safety & Teamwork

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Perform routine safety inspections on assigned equipment

Escalate equipment concerns to technicians and supervisors when necessary

Support overtime and production demands as required

What We're Looking For

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment

Good manual dexterity and basic math skills

Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures

Ability to learn new equipment and processes quickly

Strong work ethic and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, machine operator, production, assembly, or equipment operation experience

Experience working in a clean room or regulated manufacturing environment

Familiarity with mechanical or electronic measuring equipment

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience documenting production information electronically

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift

Ability to lift and move materials up to 20 pounds regularly

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail

Ability to perform visual inspections with and without magnification tools

Comfortable working in a clean room manufacturing environment

Pay Details: $17.50 to $16.00 per hour
