The Role
We're looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor who brings strong people leadership, operational discipline, and a continuous-improvement mindset to lead daily logistics operations and support business growth. As the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient transportation, and a high-performing team environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to ongoing site improvements and grow within a dynamic supply chain organization.
What You'll Do:
Warehouse Operations & Inventory
Manage and optimize inventory levels, accuracy, and organization
Analyze inventory reports and implement controls to reduce loss and damage
Ensure efficient warehouse layout and product flow
Own daily labor planning, workload allocation, and real time execution management
Enforce inventory control procedures and location accuracy throughout the site
Own and execute the cycle counts with the team
Shipping & Receiving
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers
Verify accuracy and quality of incoming goods
Oversee safe, efficient loading and unloading operations
Manage and resolve carrier-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, and service performance
Coordinate specialized shipments, including export orders, flatbed deliveries, and customer-specific requirements
Planning & Scheduling
Build and manage shipment schedules to meet customer demands
Collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics with production and sales
Optimize routes and transportation strategies for efficiency and cost
Lead and oversee replenishment processes to support production
Validate and manage warehouse request workflows, ensuring material availability, accuracy, and readiness for shipment
Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, and order accuracy issues
Cost & Performance Management
Track logistics KPIs and identify improvement opportunities
Manage transportation and warehousing costs
Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure competitive rates
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, material flow, and productivity
Coach, train, and develop warehouse team members
Drive accountability
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate logistics records and reporting
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards
Establish and enforce standard work across material handling operations
Continuous Improvement & Warehouse Optimization
Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, material flow, and inventory accuracy
Apply Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies (root cause analysis, standard work, waste reduction) to improve operations
Evaluate and optimize warehouse layout, racking configurations, and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and efficiency
Develop and improve warehouse processes and systems, including inventory control and material flow
Identify and implement improvements to warehouse infrastructure, tools, and workflows to support long-term operational performance
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
4 years of experience in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
Experience implementing logistics or inventory control processes
Proficiency with inventory/logistics systems (ERP/WMS)
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
The estimated salary range for this position is $80K to $95k. plus bonus.??Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.?
