Stew Leonard's, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew's earned its nickname, the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Uniform Attendant

Part Time Hourly - Estimated pay range $17.25 to $18.25 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

As a uniform attendant candidate will be helping the team members with getting coats, gloves, and aprons. Cleaning gloves and stocking the uniform center with gloves and towels. Helping create nametags and keep the cafeteria clean and in order.

Your day-to-day:

Responsible for providing clean uniforms to the team, also laundering gloves. Responsible for printing out labels for the departments. Responsible for making name tags, keeping accurate records of uniform inventory and other assigned responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills

Candidate must be mature and responsible

Great organizational skills

Excellent communications skills and a great friendly attitude is a must- you'll be interacting with Team Members all day

Being able to multitask

Must be available to work between the hours of 5:45 am to 2:30 pm

Entry level position; no prior experience required

Safely use tools and equipment used in the daily operation of department

Requires frequent walking, standing, reaching and bending, with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
