Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

Join a dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will contribute to high-growth industries by working on advanced electronic materials. This role will involve significant opportunities for professional development, especially in the startup of new sites in California and Texas.

Responsibilities

Assemble bases, sills, cabinet frames, and equipment structural components using tools such as jacks and hand tools.

Interpret and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.

Identify and repair electrical problems using testing devices and diagnostic tools.

Perform preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and downtime.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in PLC Programming.

Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes.

Experience with sensor systems and wiring.

Background in Electrical Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

3+ years of experience in PLC programming.

Experience working in the chemical industry.

3+ years of experience in building panels and installing electrical wiring in control cabinets and equipment.

Work Environment

The position is based at the main R&D hub in New Jersey, which is home to about 90 engineers. Expect to travel 50% of the time to assist in the startup of locations in California, West Haven, and Texas.

This is a Contract position based out of South Plainfield, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
