The Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC, leads and supports HVACR operations by coordinating work assignments, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining equipment quality standards. What you'll do:
Lead and coordinate HVACR maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Oversee inspections, installations, and modifications of HVACR equipment and Energy Management Systems to maintain quality standards.
Manage refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and supplier relationships to support operational efficiency.
Provide training and technical guidance to technicians, promoting best practices and skill development.
Compile and report budget information, submit warranty claims, and develop scopes of work for HVACR projects.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVACR and EMS equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Support continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and recommending enhancements.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in HVACR repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including preventive maintenance and major repairs.
In-depth knowledge of EPA regulations and compliance related to refrigerants and environmental safety.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams, manage workloads, and provide technical guidance and training.
Strong skills in inspecting HVACR installations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Experience managing parts inventory, tracking usage, and developing vendor relationships.
Ability to compile and report budget information, conduct cost comparisons, and support financial sustainability.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: 10 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
