Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

A medium-sized distributor of smokeless tobacco products is seeking dedicated warehouse workers. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, conducting cycle counts, managing inventory, and performing various duties related to shipping and receiving. The work predominantly involves manual labor, with limited use of forklifts.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks efficiently.

Pull orders and conduct cycle counts.

Manage inventory and utilize RF scanners.

Perform shipping and receiving duties.

Engage in general material handling tasks.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.

Proficiency in forklift operation.

Experience with pallet jack operations.

Ability to manage inventory and conduct cycle counts.

Skills in picking, packing, and using RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Computer savvy.

Strong inventory skills.

Experience working in a distribution center.

Work Environment

The position is based in a brand new warehouse equipped with air conditioning and traditional warehouse racking. The facility is heavily automated and promotes a collaborative culture where employees assist each other. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with potential overtime on Mondays and weekends as needed. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and work shirts, with the possibility of wearing tennis shoes and shorts in warmer weather.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Missouri City, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
