1st & 2nd Shift Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator

Shift:

1st 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday

2nd 4:30pm-2:55am Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday

3rd 10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday- Will train on first shift for a few weeks

Responsibilities

Reference work orders to set up production lines accurately for each product run.

Lead the setup of production filling lines and operate equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Adjust machine settings and perform minor repairs as needed to achieve product specifications and meet quality standards.

Document all production activities accurately in accordance with GMP requirements using Product History Records (PHRs).

Inspect bottles placed on the line to ensure they meet quality requirements before filling.

Monitor filling and packaging equipment to ensure it operates effectively and consistently.

Make necessary adjustments to ensure correct fill levels and weights are maintained throughout the run.

Communicate promptly with manufacturing leaders about any product that does not meet quality standards.

Verify that all correct raw materials are used for each specific production run.

Complete and submit all required documentation and production logs accurately and on time.

Troubleshoot issues on filling equipment to restore production quickly and efficiently.

Follow all safety guidelines in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.

Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area at all times.

Use hand and power tools safely for machine setup, adjustments, and light troubleshooting.

This is a Contract position based out of Gurnee, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
