From business intelligence and solutions for critical transportation infrastructure to planning and operating a safe, efficient, and reliable multimodal transportation system, the team connects people and markets across Minnesota.
As the Application Release Coordinator with Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), you will provide application release services for commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS), custom-built client-server and server applications/software, and application migrations. You will be responsible for collaborative project coordination in a matrixed environment and has application stakeholders, IT service owners, process owners, architects, and IT team leads that provide direction for the connected IT services. In addition, you will be expected to communicate, coordinate, deliver and/or resolve simple to complex application release service tasks to ensure MnDOT applications and systems are supported per the application's service level agreement, support model, and to the satisfaction of the MnDOT business partner.
This position requires an employee to be onsite at 395 John Ireland Blvd, St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location. Minimum Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in IT project coordination, network application support, and network systems.
Experience must include:
Project planning, priorities, communications and risks.
Network application support.
Basic network functionality and design.
Network server functionality, both Windows and Linux.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding.
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences.
Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months.
Preferred Qualifications
SQL and Oracle Database Administration
Azure Cloud and on premises architecture, support, and solutions.
IT systems disaster recovery planning.
Migration of applications from on premises to the cloud.
SaaS and PaaS concepts.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
MnDOT Network design and systems support. Servers, applications, firewalls, DNS, and Active Directory .
