Summary You will serve as a CONTRACTING OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE (PORT OPERATIONS) in the Operations Department of NAVSUBASE KINGSBAY. Responsibilities You will serve as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and or Technical Assistant (TA). You will provide oversight and program management for all boat maintenance. You will analyze budget and maintenance related initiatives, policies and regulation to determine impact on the Port Operations program. You will be responsible for all work involved in the advance planning for boat and waterfront equipment availabilities. You will provide oversight and program management for Oil spill Response Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assessing budget and maintenance initiatives, developing comprehensive impact reports that guided executive decision-making and supported long-term port operations; 2) Managing systems acquisition and contractor performance to ensure full regulatory compliance and mission alignment; 3) Scheduling routine maintenance, repairs, and modernization of maritime assets to prevent breakdowns and keep equipment running smoothly; 4) Providing technical guidance on contractual performance requirements.
