As a Security Officer Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Grass Valley, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

DayTimeSat08:30 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to identify and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry and exit procedures, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or operational needs.

Support Allied Universal and location protocols by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and reporting maintenance, life emergency, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
