Our client, a leading aerospace engineering and testing organization , is seeking a Mechanical/Test Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical/Test Systems Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering & Test Systems Department supporting cross-functional engineering and project teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , project management capabilities , and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical/Test Systems Engineer

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid - 2525 West 190th Street, Torrance, CA 90504, United States; 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Pay Range: $70/hr

What's the Job?

Design and support mechanical and test facility systems for aerospace applications (pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, turbomachinery, etc.)

Define, document, and analyze testing for products, systems, and components

Interpret test results, identify issues, and recommend solutions

Lead or support project engineering activities and coordinate across teams

Provide progress reports and contribute to quality control and reliability programs

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related field

Minimum 4 years of experience designing mechanical or test systems

Minimum 4 years of project engineering or project management experience

Experience with test environments involving fluid systems, heat exchangers, or turbomachinery

Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret test data and solve technical problems
