The opportunity:

Looking for candidates to fill entry level manufacturing positions as needed. Employees responsible for helping run high speed carton forming equipment safely, performing preventative and breakdown maintenance, and participating on a safety team and a production improvement team. Responsibilities also include set up and changeover of machines, production paperwork and assisting crew with all responsibilities that assure quality product and efficient production. Note: Do not contact plant directly. Smurfit Westrock will contact potential applicants.

\u2022 Assist in establishing and sustaining a clean and well-organized facility

\u2022 Assist in creating a more "proactive" approach towards safety with employee involvement

\u2022 Ensure that safe working conditions are observed

\u2022 Ability to interact with integrity with the crew and plant leadership

\u2022 Must meet company\u2019s safety, quality, and productivity standards

\u2022 Interact with improvement teams to resolve production issues

\u2022 Continually look for opportunities to improve processes and optimize equipment efficiency

\u2022 Standard hand tools provided by the company

What you need to succeed:

\u2022 High School diploma or GED equivalent

\u2022 Willing to work 12-hour shifts. 36-hours/48-hour alternate weeks

\u2022 Willing to work night

\u2022 Overtime as needed

\u2022 Teamwork
