As a Security Officer Site Access in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment. In this active role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with location procedures.

Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and notable conditions, and support Allied Universal and site management with security-related information and follow-up as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
