Summary This position is located at the United States Mint in Philadelphia in the Production Maintenance Division. As an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for leading work operations of Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanics, WG-2606-11/12, Production Machinery Mechanics, WG-5350-11, Toolmaker WG-3416-13, and may lead Maintenance Mechanics, WG-4749-10, Electricians WG-2805-10, Elevator Mechanics WG-5313-10 and Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanics WG-5306-10. Responsibilities As an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Leader, you will: Relaying job assignments received from the supervisor and making specific assignments to ensure proper job sequence, most effective and efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment are met Demonstrating proper work methods and procedures Insuring that required plans, blueprints, procedures, materials, and tools are available Obtaining needed information or decisions from supervisors on problems that come up during the work-day Maintaining a current knowledge, and answering questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (e.g. technical orders) Requirements Conditions of Employment All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines.
