Job Summary:

CSA Group is offering an exciting summer co-op placement for students pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. This hands-on opportunity allows you to work alongside experienced Product Safety Engineers and Laboratory Technicians, gaining valuable technical and project management skills in a collaborative lab environment.

What You'll Do

Shadow Product Safety Engineers and Lab Technicians to learn the product certification process and standards.

Contribute to lab efficiency initiatives, including the development and automation of test forms.

Apply basic electrical theory while exploring new technologies and innovative testing methods.

Assist in preparing certification documents and other CSA-related documentation.

Think creatively to improve testing and certification workflows.

What We're Looking For

Currently enrolled in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program.

Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab setting.

Able to submit a resume and unofficial or official transcript.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Self-motivation, accountability, and a proactive mindset.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
