Job Description
The Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting revenue-generating activities by partnering closely with the sales team, ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining CRM integrity, and delivering high-quality customer service. This position also contributes to marketing initiatives, including digital content creation, branding, and analytics reporting. The role suits a detail-oriented professional who communicates clearly, manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, logistics, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Support the sales team by preparing customer quotes, responding to pricing requests, and assembling professional proposals.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, order status requests, and general support needs.
Process and manage purchase orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain and update customer records, purchase orders, and account activity within the CRM system to ensure data integrity.
Coordinate with operations, finance, and logistics teams to ensure order accuracy, on-time delivery, and smooth order fulfillment.
Assist in maintaining cost sheets, pricing structures, and product documentation to support sales efforts and customer communications.
Review customer contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and help mitigate risk.
Maintain organized documentation and ensure adherence to internal processes, procedures, and compliance standards.
Answer and route incoming calls, ensuring inquiries are directed appropriately and handled efficiently.
Manage office-related purchasing using company credit cards while accurately tracking expenses and receipts.
Monitor and replenish office supply inventory as needed to support day-to-day operations.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
Manage and schedule social media content, with a particular focus on LinkedIn, including post creation, publishing, and engagement tracking.
Support search engine optimization initiatives through keyword research and content optimization to improve digital visibility.
Collaborate on marketing campaigns, including email outreach and promotional initiatives, to support lead generation and brand awareness.
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain marketing assets, templates, and content libraries to ensure consistent brand usage.
Attend internal meetings and, when appropriate, customer meetings to align on requirements, timelines, and expectations.
Engage with the manufacturing process to follow products through production, supporting a deeper understanding of offerings and customer needs.
Adapt to evolving priorities and wear many hats as needed to support both sales and marketing functions in a growing organization.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint for presentations, Excel for reporting, and Outlook for daily internal and external email communication.
Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems to manage customer data and sales activities.
Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing or sales support environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders, maintaining records, and managing documentation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and building strong relationships.
Comfort working in a sales support capacity within a manufacturing and aerospace or defense-related environment.
Basic understanding of sales processes, including quoting, pricing, and proposal preparation.
Ability to interpret and review contract terms, conditions, and company policies to support risk mitigation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CRM experience preferred, including maintaining customer records and tracking sales activities.
Experience supporting ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
Sales support, inside sales, or customer service in an industrial or technical environment is an advantage.
Exposure to digital marketing activities such as social media management, email campaigns, and content creation is desirable.
Familiarity with SEO concepts, including keyword research and content optimization, is a plus.
Experience tracking and reporting marketing performance metrics to inform strategy is helpful.
Ability to collaborate across departments, including sales, operations, finance, logistics, and engineering.
Comfort working in a growing organization where responsibilities may evolve and require flexibility.
Interest in the aerospace and defense industry and in seeing products through the full manufacturing lifecycle.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain structured documentation, templates, and content libraries.
Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing setting within a small to mid-size company that is in rapid growth mode and expanding its engineering capabilities, including a recently purchased additional building on the same street. The standard schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a firm, consistent daytime work pattern. The dress code is business casual. The environment offers close collaboration with customers and internal teams, as well as the opportunity to see products move through the manufacturing process.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $28.85/hr.
