Pay Rate: $23.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri09:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat09:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor sign-in activity, and/or delivery arrivals in accordance with site protocols for a healthcare location.

Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with patients, visitors, and staff, offering directions and assistance while addressing security-related concerns with courtesy and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

A New York State Security Guard License is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
