Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker accurately picks and packs customer orders, prepares shipments for delivery, and supports overall warehouse operations. This role focuses on reliability, attention to detail, and safe material handling while using basic computer programs and warehouse tools to keep inventory and orders organized and up to date.
Responsibilities
Pick and pack customer orders accurately using packing slips and established procedures.
Build boxes, prepare shipments, and stage completed orders for delivery.
Wrap and band pallets securely to ensure safe transport.
Organize inventory and assist with restocking and stock rotation projects.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, including sweeping floors and cleaning shelves.
Navigate warehouse aisles using an alphanumeric system to locate and retrieve items.
Support general shipping and receiving tasks, including labeling, documentation, loading, and unloading.
Use basic computer programs such as Excel, Outlook, and internal tracking systems to update order status, manage inventory, and communicate with the team.
Perform order picking and material handling using appropriate tools and equipment.
Assist with inventory control and warehouse inventory counts as needed.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
Proven experience with picking, pulling, packing, and packaging customer orders.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including labeling and documentation.
Ability to lift and move boxes and materials up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and navigating warehouse aisles.
Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Excel, Outlook, and internal systems.
Ability to use RF scanners or similar devices for order picking and inventory control.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packing instructions accurately.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions and complete paperwork.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with forklift operation and general material handling is beneficial.
Familiarity with order picking systems and warehouse tracking tools.
Comfort working in a fast-paced shipping and receiving environment.
Employment expected through November, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment working alongside a small team of approximately five to six colleagues in the department. You will be on your feet for most of the day, frequently lifting and moving boxes and materials up to 50 pounds, and navigating aisles organized by an alphanumeric system. The position follows a daytime shift from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break, Monday through Friday. The dress code is casual, with comfortable clothing recommended, and open-toed footwear such as flip flops is not permitted. The work involves regular use of basic computer programs, RF scanners, and standard warehouse equipment for picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory control.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
