SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The GRS Region Leader serves as the primary resource supporting HUB's Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Practice across assigned HUB Regions. This role functions as a subject matter expert on global insurance matters, providing hands-on operational, technical, and relationship management support to HUB service teams and their clients.
This position reports to the GRS Practice Leader and will lead execution responsibilities and provide support to the Practice Leader within enterprise-level strategy, external partnerships, and practice growth. The Region Leader brings deep global insurance expertise to clients with complex multinational exposures and acts as an embedded GRS resource within the Region.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy
Maintain and grow the strategic relationships of top-tier, complex global accounts within the assigned Region.
Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for global insurance matters for HUB service teams, providing guidance on program structure, coverage adequacy, and compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
Support the GRS Practice Leader in executing on broader practice strategy, contributing regional intelligence and client-level insight.
Thought Leadership
Assist the GRS Practice Leader with the creation and development of articles, white papers, and other content published internally and externally, positioning HUB as a global insurance subject matter leader.
Stay current on global insurance market trends, regulatory changes, and multinational program developments to inform both client advisory and internal education.
Represent the GRS practice in regional client meetings, industry events, and broker forums as appropriate.
Creation & Development of Products
Assist the GRS Practice Leader with the creation and enhancement of innovative product solutions tailored to the needs of global clients.
Identify gaps or opportunities in the existing global product suite based on regional client feedback and market trends.
Collaborate with carrier partners and the GRS Practice Leader to pilot, launch, and refine new offerings.
Service
Direct and coordinate the servicing of clients; global insurance programs, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across all jurisdictions.
Act as a central point of escalation and technical expertise for HUB service teams managing global accounts within the Region.
Ensure client deliverables; including coverage summaries, policy schedules, and renewal timelines &; are met accurately and on time.
Billing
Oversee client invoicing and premium payment tracking for global policies, including collection of premiums across multiple geographies.
Coordinate fee payments to the broker network and manage revenue share settlements in accordance with established agreements.
Network Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison to HUB's international broker network for the management of clients; global policies.
Issue instructions to network partners, manage inbound and outbound requests, and ensure timely responses and follow-through on all servicing activities.
Monitor network performance and escalate quality or compliance concerns to the GRS Practice Leader as needed.
Global & Local Policy
Oversee the issuance and tracking of global and local policies within the assigned Region, ensuring all policies meet local admitted standards and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with network brokers to verify that locally-issued policies are in good standing and aligned with the global master program.
Maintain accurate policy documentation and version control throughout the policy lifecycle.
Placement
Provide support for global placement activities, including global program design, marketing efforts, and broking negotiations on behalf of clients.
Assist HUB service teams and the GRS Practice Leader with placement strategy for complex or high-exposure global accounts.
Participate in deal desk discussions and RFP responses for the Region, contributing technical placement expertise.
New Business & RFP Support
Provide content development, technical input, and oral presentation support for new business opportunities and defensive RFPs within the Region.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in global insurance, multinational risk management, or international insurance broking.
Demonstrated expertise in global program design, multinational policy structures, and cross-border compliance requirements.
Experience managing relationships with international carrier partners and broker networks.
Strong understanding of global insurance markets, including admitted vs. non-admitted placements and local regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with Epic or comparable insurance management platforms.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare client-ready materials and present to senior stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience working within a large, matrixed brokerage environment.
Familiarity with Axco or similar global market intelligence tools.
Exposure to multinational product development or carrier partnership management.
CPCU, IRM, or other relevant insurance designation.
Second language proficiency (particularly Spanish, French, or Mandarin) is an asset given the regional scope of the role.

Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $150,000- $175,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
