Job Description
This position supports avionics testing, troubleshooting, installations, and upgrade projects across a variety of civilian helicopter platforms. Responsibilities
Perform avionics testing and troubleshooting on civilian helicopter systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Complete new avionics system installations and execute upgrade installations on a variety of helicopter platforms.
Build and modify wire harnesses, including crimping, routing, and terminations, to support new installations and modifications.
Support avionics integration efforts across multiple aircraft @types, ensuring systems interface correctly and function as designed.
Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to perform accurate installations and repairs.
Carry out avionics repair and maintenance tasks on aircraft electrical and electronic systems in accordance with regulatory standards.
Perform aircraft modifications related to avionics and electrical systems, ensuring proper documentation and configuration control.
Ensure compliance with all aviation safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including FAA requirements and internal procedures.
Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements, maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to support broader aircraft maintenance, including coordination with inspections, engine repairs, and airframe modifications.

Work Environment
The role is based in an FAA-certified repair station that provides maintenance and inspections, including major avionics upgrades, engine repairs, airframe modifications, and other maintenance services on civilian helicopter platforms. You will work hands-on around aircraft, avionics systems, and electrical components, using tools and equipment for wiring, crimping, testing, and troubleshooting. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in a professional hangar and shop environment that follows strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
