Chemours is seeking a North American Supply Planner to join our growing Titanium Technologies Supply Chain team. This HYBRID position will be available at our Wilmington, DE location and report directly to the TT Americas Supply Chain Manager.
As a supply planner, you will be working directly with the regional North America supply chain and commercial teams to anticipate and maintain inventory levels in order to keep the region adequately supplied. To be successful as a supply planner, an individual needs to have experience in supply chain management, possess strong analytical skills and a think outside the box approach.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Calculate, prepare, and submit monthly Ship Requests throughout supply network following all pertinent sourcing rules from S&OP
Manage availability for the region and triggering Request for Changes to the supply plan as needed to match the replenishment plan to changing short term demand requirements
Execute Replenishment Plan at warehouse/terminals and consignment locations ensuring timely delivery of inventory to meet customer orders, while balancing supply with demand on replenishment inventory orders
Reviewing on a regular frequency (2-3x/week) the evolution of the Sales Outlook (forecast) vs. actual orders, and send detailed analytics to regional supply chain, demand planner, and sales team
Maintain the SKU inventory levels, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while maintaining cost effective levels of inventory
Plan and track inventory, work with regional and local personnel to manage on hand inventory levels as appropriate
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams working on inventory related issues and constraints
Set and maintain route lead-times in SAP and order lead-times in customer portal, maintain master data integrity to ensure system accuracy
Analyze customer SKU order demand patterns, collaborate with warehouse/plant locations, marketing/product manager, sales reps and demand planner to escalate any deviations
The following is required for this role:
Bachelor's degree in a related or technical field
5+ years of experience working in supply chain planning
Proficiency with SAP, or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Advanced Excel skills (big data analysis, pivot table and data summary generation, VLOOKUP, complex formula writing and troubleshooting, etc.)
Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Flexible and Organized (self-managing, able to set priorities), Problem solver (good decision-making skills even in case of uncertainty)
Eager to learn, with Focus on Continuous Improvement
The following is preferred for this role:
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certifications
OMP experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment, delivering commitments and initiating improvements
