Job Description
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing products for distribution. Working under direct supervision, this role uses established guidelines and warehouse systems to process customer and stock orders, maintain inventory flow, and ensure products are ready for shipping in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build experience and grow within warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Generate manifests for dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders in accordance with established procedures.
Interpret warehouse documents to determine which items need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate products from receiving or production areas to designated storage or staging locations.
Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a predetermined sequence or storage plan.
Prepare products for internal distribution within the facility to support efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place completed orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors for transfer to the packing station or shipping department.
Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products while following established warehouse guidelines and safety practices.
Arrange stock parts in specified sequences to support assembly work performed by other team members.
Create and enter records for manifests into the warehouse computer system to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
Support general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, and auditing as directed by supervision.
Essential Skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Up to 0-6 months of warehouse experience, including exposure to picking, packing, shipping, material handling, or auditing tasks.
Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions and interpret warehouse documents.
Basic computer literacy to create and enter records into warehouse systems.
Strong attention to detail when sorting, organizing, and assembling orders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Willingness to work under direct supervision and follow established guidelines and procedures.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts move frequently in clearly defined, safety-conscious traffic patterns. The facility is a non-climate-controlled environment, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. Cellphones and personal electronics are not permitted on the warehouse floor to maintain safety and focus. Appropriate footwear such as sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes is required to support safe movement and material handling throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $13.00/hr.
