Job Title: Electrical Assembler / Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on building electrical and mechanical components and assembling them into drones and military all-terrain vehicles (M-ATVs) according to detailed blueprints and specifications. You will provide routine technical support to engineers by working with standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment, ensuring that assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble basic electrical and mechanical components and sub-assemblies for drones and military all-terrain vehicles according to blueprints and work instructions.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, work instructions, models, and drawings to perform accurate and consistent assemblies.
Prepare products for assembly, including mechanical, harness, cable, and printed circuit board sub-assemblies, as well as spray application and visual inspection.
Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, and nuts, while following build documentation and assembly standards.
Use hand tools and torque wrenches to perform pull tests, verify tooling, and ensure secure and reliable connections.
Interpret work instructions and assemble multiple units as part of a structured assembly process, meeting production and quality targets.
Perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies to identify and correct issues in alignment, connections, or component placement.
Carry out specialized manufacturing duties as needed, such as wire preparation, auto bonding, and sleeving.
Conduct quality control checks on completed assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
Work in and around vehicles, including accessing restricted spaces as required to complete assemblies and installations.
Handle and move heavy materials safely, using proper lifting techniques and following safety procedures.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and their proper operation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
Ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift heavy materials safely and repeatedly.
Ability to access and work within restricted spaces in and around vehicles when necessary.
Capability to follow detailed work instructions, models, and drawings accurately.
Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical assemblies.
Attention to detail and commitment to performing quality work.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Soldering experience is a plus.
Experience with wire preparation, auto bond, or sleeving is advantageous.
Prior experience in electrical or mechanical assembly environments is beneficial.
Familiarity with performing pull tests and using torque wrenches is helpful.
Comfort working with printed circuit board sub-assemblies and harness or cable assemblies is an asset.

Work Environment
You will work in a brand-new, climate-controlled facility designed to provide a comfortable and consistent work setting throughout the year. All necessary tools are provided, allowing you to focus on high-quality assembly work without needing to supply your own equipment. The standard schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., offering a four-day workweek structure. The facility observes a closure period from mid-December through early January, providing scheduled downtime. The role involves working on and around vehicles, occasionally in restricted spaces, and handling heavy materials while following established safety practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
